During this interim period, we encourage you and your family to remain involved in the following ways:
1. Pray for those directly affected by COVID-19. Pray for our health care workers as they are put in harms way by those affected. Pray for our government officials that are making difficult decisions. Pray for the health and safety of the elderly and those suffering from a chronic disease or compromised immune system. Pray for the people whose livelihood has been, or will be, affected by the spread of this sickness. Pray that God would protect our community and surrounding areas from further spread of the virus.
2. Look for ways to reflect the love of Jesus Christ and for opportunities to be His hands and feet. The church leadership is currently working on ways to help those in need during this time and we will keep you informed of those opportunities.
3. Continue to faithfully give financial offerings online through REALM or by mail so that the ministry of Maytown Baptist thrives all the more in the difficult days ahead. Besides our general tithes and offerings, you can still give towards the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, VBS special offering, and our food pantry emergency fund.
4. Practice these recommended personal procedures from the CDC:
-If you are high risk, such as older adults and those with underlying chronic medical conditions, avoid crowds as much as possible.
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
-Stay home when you are sick.
-Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
-Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
-Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
5. Finally, you can join us for worship online this Sunday at 10:30am on the Maytown Baptist Church YouTube Channel.

Let's use this opportunity to practice Our Core Values...

Love - Ephesians 4:2
Faith - 1 Corinthians 4:1-2
